Welcome to my midweek blog
Today I have a "Sympathy", "showing that you care" card to share with you made using the Stampin'Up! Weather Together Stamp Set.
To make the card I started with Stampin'Up! (SU) Tranquil Tide cardstock and added a matt in SU Soft Sky. I then cut a matt in SU Very Vanilla and embossed this layer with the SU Softly Falling embossing folder to give it a rain like effect. I tried to colour the rain drops blue using a Dauber with Soft Sky ink but it has not really shown up on the card
Next I stamped the bear using the SU Baby Bear Stamp and SU Chocolate Chip ink. Before it dried completely I used my Su Aqua Painter to draw some of the colour across the parts of the bear that were not coloured.
Once dry, I glued the matt down to the card and stamped and then cut out the umbrella using the SU Weather Together stamp and matching Die set for the umbrella and Chocolate chip ink on Tranquil Tide cardstock.
Stamp a suitable stamp on the second piece of Very Vanilla card and attach it as your insert inside the card
The last bit was the sentiment which is also from the Weather Together stamp set - stamped in Chocolate Chip
