Stampin' Up Daisy Delight Double Z Fold Card

We will be using the Stampin' Up! Daisy Delight Stamp set and punch during September

I have made a Tri Fold card using the Daisy Delight Designer Series Paper.

To make this card first cut out your cardstock and Design Series Paper. Stamp your 6 daisies in Daffodil Delight and punch them out. Make up the daisies into 2 flowers and stamp the centres with Night of Navy ink. Stamp the sentiment on the piece of Whisper White card again with Night of Navy.

Score both Daffodil Delight cardstock at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2"

Burnish the folds and make up the layers as below

Add your layers to the card base

Take the narrow Daffodil Delight card and glue the matching Whisper White card to it. Burnish the folds

Add Tombow to the back of the longest part of the narrow card, only adding glue to the same width as the front of the card.

Apply the strip to the front of the card

Apply glue to the back of the strip at the other end and then carefully shut the card on the glue so that it sits in the right place (practice without glue first)

Add the daisy to the back of the card on top of the narrow strip using a glue dot. Close the card and apply the second daisy to the front so that they sit one in front of the other
Add the mounted sentiment with dimensionals

Midweek Blog 23/8/17 another Sneak Peek at the Stampin' Up! Holiday catalogue

Welcome to my Midweek Blog in which I am offering another sneak peek at the Stampin'Up! Holiday Catalogue that is release on 1st September

This is the 2017 Holiday catalogue

I made this card using the new "Santa Paws" Stampin' Up! Stamp Set from the Holiday Catalogue

I made the card by folding the black card base in half and burnishing the crease with my bone folder. 

I first glued on the matt with the music pattern, and then glued on top of that the Real Red matt.

I then stamped the cat stamp onto the Very Vanilla cardstock and stamped the sentiment.

Then the best fun of all was the water colouring using my Aqua Painter and the inks.

The sentiment and the picture are applied using dimensionals to give some height

Cardstock - Stampin' Up! (SU) Black 1/2 A4 sheet for the card base

Cardstock - SU Real Red 3 5/8" x 5 3/8"

Cardstock - SU Very Vanilla 3 1/4" x 3 1/4", 5 5/8 x 3 7/8 for the insert and 21/2"  x 3/4" for the sentiment

SU Designer Series Paper "Merry Music" 5 5/8"x 3 7/8"

Stampin'Up new "Santa Paws" Stamp Set

SU Inks - Basic Black, Old Olive, Real Red, Garden Green, Pumpkin Pie, Basic Gray, Daffodil Delight, Pacific Point, Early Espresso

Black Rhinestone Jewels for the animals noses

Card Recipe:-

Cardstock 1 - 1/2 A4 sheet for the card base. I have used Pool Party but any colour is ok
Cardstock 2 in toning colour 5 5/8 x 3 7/8 - I used Bermuda Bay
Cardstock Whisper White 5 1/2 x 3 7/8 for the insert
DSP in matching shades 5 3/8 x 2" I used the spotty DSP from the Naturally Eclectic DSP
Bakers Twine in toning colour
A Happy Birthday stamp
Apropriate sized Label in both cardstock 1 and 2 I used the Pretty Label punch
