Stampin' Up! Fancy Fold February 2018 Blog Hop

Welcome to the Crafty Cupcakes Team Stampin' Up! Blog Hop for Feb 2018. Each month members of the Team take part in our Team Blog Hop to share with you our cards and projects made using the fabulous Stampin' Up! products. You are currently visiting my blog, Jenny Dowding, and below you will see the full list of everyone taking part. To move to the next blog just click the name after mine in the list.

This month our theme is Fancy Fold February.

Thank you for visiting my blog today.

Today's Fancy Fold card is made using the Petal Palette Bundle and Petal Passion Designer Series Paper from the 2018 Spring/Summer Catalogue

I have used Soft Sky cardstock for the card base. I used the new Stampin' Blends to colour the flowers and birds. Some Wink of Stella gives a nice shimmer.

I cut through all 3 layers at the same time to make the window to make sure that they were exactly above each other.

This lovely card idea is cased from one made in 2016 by our very own Crafty Cupcake Lea Denton. Thanks Lea. Do hop over and see her blog.

The Team have worked really hard on our Blog Hop to bring you a variety of creativity and inspiration. Make sure you click the next name on the list to carry on through the Hop.

  5. Beautiful card. Love the colours. I will pop over to Lea's bolg and see how to make this as I wouldn't know were to start. That little open heart the bird is sitting on is a great embellishment, I'll have a look for it in the catalogue. many thanks for sharing your lovely card..

    1. Thank you for your lovely comments. I don't know if this is on Lea's Blog as I saw a card she had made and just worked it out from there. I could make a tutorial video at a later date if wanted

    2. The silver glimmer heart was just a scrap cut out where I had cut a heart for another card and it was too big so I cut a smaller one out of the one I had already cut. I wanted something else on the front and my eye just fell on the heart silhouette and I thought - Bingo!
