Welcome to my Weekend Blog- Baby Boy Card

My neighbour is impatiently waiting for the birth of her second baby who is now overdue, so I thought that I had better get his welcome card made today!

I have made the card using Soft Sky cardstock, the Bundle of Love DSP and The Moon Baby stamp set.

I stamped with Momento Black ink and coloured in using the Light Pool Party and Light Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends

I added a bow using Soft Sky 1cm ribbon and will be giving this new little one, one of the teeny baby knitted  hats that I make for my local Delivery Suite where I work

I hope you like my card and it gives you inspiration to make one for someone.

Simple Birthday Cards using Eastern Palace Designer Series Paper

Welcome to Stampin' Jenny's Weekend Blog

Today I have made a set of Birthday Cards using the Eastern Palace Designer Series paper (DSP) from the current annual catalogue.

I plan on actually USING more DSP in the future as I tend to buy it, love it and hoard it!

I have used In Colour card and co-ordinated it with the DSP - one in Lemon Lime Twist

One in Dapper Denim

and one in Fresh Fig

I hope you like these simple cards and have a go at making them

I have made an Easter basket.
Thank you for visiting my blog today.

The Team have worked really hard on our Blog Hop to bring you a variety of creativity and inspiration. Make sure you click the next name on the list to carry on through the Hop.

This Easter Basket is very simple to make and would be a fun way to get your children and grandkids involved.

Cut a 6" x6" square of card and score it at 2" and 4"on both sides.

Cut up to the 2" line on both sides as shown.

Fold the triangular piece up and then fold in alternate narrow pieces, starting with the middle ones.

Staple it into place and trim off the top of the triangle.

Cut a 6" x 1/2" strip for the handle and 2 x 1" circles to cover all the joins
Attach the handle with glue and add the 1" circle over the top of the joins.

Add any decoration that you like and fill with sweets or chocolate eggs.

I hope you have a go at making these really simple little baskets
